Clubs are an important part of our extra-curricular activities, allowing the children to enjoy experiences they would not normally get in school.

John Rankin After School Clubs

There are lots of options and opportunities for extra-curricular activities here at John Rankin Schools:

JRS Pupil excusive Non-Chargeable clubs – usually run by school staff
JRS Pupil exclusive Chargeable clubs – run by school staff or authorised club leaders
External company’s that hire the JRS facilities and allow anyone to attend, not just JRS pupils

Club Details and Booking Forms

Archery Club

Anita Lemoine is an Archery GB coach and is a Higher Level Teaching Assistant at John Rankin covering Foundation Stage (Reception) to years 6.

Archery club will run on a Thursday night for years 2 and 3 and a Tuesday night for years 4, 5 and 6, from 3:15pm – 4:20pm.

Please collect your child(ren) from the infant entrance gate for years 1 & 2 and main junior gate for year 4,5 and 6.

Football and Multi Sports After School Clubs

Football and Multi Sport After School Clubs will continue to run during the Autumn Term (September to December) here at John Rankin Schools. See below for details.

All the clubs will be outside and in smaller groups based on year groups and will take place on the Junior School field. Please collect your child from there.

N.B. Clubs may be cancelled due to severe weather, but DC Sports and Coaching will aim to give parents as much notice as possible if they are cancelled. Children attending these clubs after school can attend school in their sports kit, on that day, so they don’t have to get changed at the end of the school day.
