DT is an inspiring and engaging subject that empowers children to become independent and resilient. Our children will become ambitious problems solvers who embrace making mistakes as a way to further their learning.

Through our DT curriculum, our children will learn about how things work in our world and how to design and make functional products for a defined purpose and user.  This enables our children to develop creativity and resilience while solving real and relevant problems within a variety of scenarios. Our children will develop their ability to evaluate and reflect upon past and present design technology to inform decisions for their own creations.

Through practical work and making their own decisions, they will innovate and create products they are proud of that they can see, touch and taste.
